Rio de Janeiro, often simply referred to as Rio, is a vibrant city located on Brazil’s southeastern coast. Famous for it’s stunning landscapes, lively culture and iconic landmarks. Rio is a top destination for travelers worldwide.

Rio’s culture is a melting pot of influences from African, Portuguese, and indigenous Brazilian traditions. The city’s cuisine reflects this diversity, with dishes like feijoada, pao de queijo (cheese bread), and fresh seafood being popular choices.

Beyond Carnival, Rio’s nightlife is electric, with samba clubs, bars, and street parties that last until dawn. The city’s festive spirit is palpable year-round, making it a place where the celebration never ends.

The full day cultural Rio tour starts starts with a metro ride from Copacabana to downtown Rio, the historic and cultural heart of the city. Filled with national landmarks, museums, parks, shops and restaurants. Then board a “balsa,” the ferry that thousands of cariocas use daily. Once in Niteroi experience the city’s top attractions. Return to Rio by Metro, stopping for a visit to the famous Maracana Stadium, one of the world’s most iconic football venues, before heading back to Copacabana.
